A crazy little tale of our
misadventures in mid-century remodeling.
Sit back, grab a frosty beverage and enjoy!

It's time to install an exhaust fan!
I can't remember what I was cooking (burning), but we unhooked the smoke alarm and hid it under some pillows in the living room... and it still went off! I have the faint memory that the house smelled like bacon for several days. That's right, bacon! :)
I'm Steve, I write commercials, try to surf, play drums, and dig MCM style.
Haley is my wife of 21 years (21 years?!! I know!!! We must've gotten married when we were toddlers). She's an amazing graphic designer, is learning to surf, puts up with noisy band practices and luckily, digs MCM style, too.
I was born in SoCal, raised in NorCal and have lived in the Great Pacific Northwest since 1990. Haley was born and raised nearby in NE Portland.
Together we're attempting to bring this great house back to its MCM Grandeur, raise our two nutty kids, ages 14 and 17 and not drive each other crazy in the process! Life is kooky, but always a fun adventure!
Just in case the whole home restoration thing doesn't work out! We have a '56 Airstream Safari that we're restoring in our spare time. Progress is s l o w ! :-)
